The Door County
Community Foundation The Door County Community Foundation, a tax-exempt, public charity, was founded in 1999 by a group of visionary community leaders dedicated to enhancing the present and ensuring the future of this extraordinary place. The Foundation is a charitable vehicle that manages, invests and disperses funds of individuals, families and non-profit organizations. It supports programs and non-profit organizations that serve Door County and its surrounding area. Gifts to the following Third Avenue Playhouse funds within the Door County Community Foundation can be made in cash, securities, real estate, wills & bequests and life insurance. Third Avenue Playhouse Capital Fund As a non-profit organization, TAP seeks to keep high quality entertainment accessible to the community by offering reasonable ticket prices. Our average ticket price is $10 and children's programming is priced even more affordably to encourage family participation. Our box office revenues represent only a percentage of the funds required each year to uphold the artistic excellence and diversity that is part of our mission. The rest comes through charitable contributions. The Third Avenue Playhouse Endowment Fund |
