For Middle and High School Students

TAP’s StageKids program has announced its next theatre lab. This winter from February 4th-March 14th we will be having our first Film Lab. During this lab students will work with instructor Spencer Milligan to create original film projects. They will also work on scenes from other famous movies.

During this lab students will have the opportunity to act, write, direct and operate the camera, all of this will be done under the expert guidance of Spencer Milligan who has had a long career in film and stage work – primarily in New York and Los Angeles.  He is well known for his role on the classic TV series, LAND OF THE LOST as well as numerous other plays, movies and TV appearances.  He has also been a favorite of TAP students for the past several years.

teen_film_lab_sliderLab students will meet twice a week for six weeks. Wednesday labs will be from 4pm-7pm and Saturday labs will be from 11am-4pm. Students will meet at TAP, and depending on the needs of the film there will be opportunities to film on location.

Tuition for the lab is $125 and there are scholarships available.

Registration is now open by calling TAP at 743-1760.
